Our goal is to engage the worldwide technical community, especially underrepresented regions, in a full spectrum of professional development activities, including Publications, Conferences, Technical Panels, and Special Interest Groups. We have developed Distinguished Lectures and Short Courses to provide continuing education for our members' Chapters and Student Branches with either in-person visits to AESS Chapters or virtual presentations. In 2023, we are providing competitions for a Distributed Sensing Technology and Education Initiative to allow students and Young Professionals to contribute to their Region’s technical growth.
