EcoBridge

International humanitarian technology project

EcoBridge is an international humanitarian platform co-developed by IEEE teams from Tunisia: IEEE ENSIT SIGHT GROUP & IEEE CS ENSIT SBC, and Egypt: IEEE BENI SUEF SB, to address two linked problems: food waste and unmet food needs.

It implements a digital solution that connects donors, charities, volunteers, and administrators through a full donation lifecycle: creation, acceptance, routed pickup, and real-time delivery tracking.

By combining geolocation and itinerary support, live dashboards, and workflow automation, EcoBridge improves matching speed, traceability, and coordination while addressing operational challenges such as multi-actor synchronization and last-mile logistics.
