At the GRÜNX IEEE PES Day 2025 Celebration, organized by the IEEE PES IAS ENSIT Student Branch Joint Chapter , the atmosphere came alive with enthusiasm and purpose as engineers, faculty mentors, and students convened under the motif Empowering Lives through Clean and Smart Energy. The event opened with a compelling panel entitled Green Energy Solutions: Environmental Responsibilities, featuring Ayoub Madyouni, Nour Chargui, Mohamed Iyadh Chehine Zouari, and Molka Guesmi who delved into Tunisia’s energy challenges and showcased how IoT and AI can drive smarter, renewable rich grids. The first workshop, Innovative Solutions for Climate Change Mitigation, led by Ayoub Madyouni, inspired participants with fresh technologies tied to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The second workshop, Electrical Energy and Energy Introduction, delivered by Mohamed Amine Ben Hellal, grounded attendees in core concepts of generation, distribution, electric vehicles, and their synergy with low-carbon energy systems. The grand highlight, however, emerged when the audience burst into a spontaneous green hack sprint rapidly ideating bold, cross disciplinary projects focused on clean energy and AI integration. That electric moment of creative unity embodied GRÜNX’s essence: educational, dynamic, and purpose driven.
