At GREEN SPARK 1.0, the vibrant synergy between IEEE PES IAS ENSIT Student Branche Joint Chapter at Faculty of Sciences of Sfax panning PES, IAS, IES, and FSScame alive in a three day immersive event dedicated to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and IEEE�s mission Participants ranged from ambitious undergraduates and graduate researchers to dedicated faculty mentors and sustainability advocates, all converging in collaborative curiosity. The experience unfolded through three standout workshops: �Introduction to Nuclear Energy� by Mr. Walid Dridi, who demystified nuclear fission, reactor types, and safety protocols while emphasizing its role in low-carbon transitions; �Research Paper Writing: From Start to Finish� by Med Amine Ben Helal, expertly guiding attendees through hypothesis formulation, methodology design, journal submission, and tools like LaTeX and Overleaf; and �Empowering Sustainable Cities: Climate for a Greener Future� by Amine Guesmi, who engaged the audience with smart-grid integration, climate adaptation strategies, and urban IoT innovations And here�s the scoop: midway through the event, the energy skyrocketed when a spontaneous �Green Idea Sprint� lit up the virtual/physical room attendees had just five minutes to pitch bold, interdisciplinary projects combining nuclear science, academic writing tools, and urban sustainability. This rapid-fire ideation session sparked laughter, deep creativity, and unexpected collaborations capturing the heart of GREEN SPARK�s spirit: educational, innovative, and electric with possibility.
