At the “Sustainable Green World” event—branded under the inspiring theme “How You Tech-Energy: Empowering the Next Generation of Energy Innovators through Education, Technology, and Creative Action” the IEEE PES IAS ENSIT Student Branch joint chapter welcomed a vibrant mix of enthusiastic participants, expert speakers, and curious guests. Attendees ranged from undergraduate and graduate students passionate about green energy to local educators and industry professionals who joined to share insights and inspire action. Our keynote presenter, Dr. Arfaoui Naoures, delivered an enlightening session on renewable energy systems bridging academic rigor with hands-on perspective and effortlessly captivating the crowd. Another highlight was the “Grediting Challenge”, where student teams crafted compelling energy-themed short videos using Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with a live editing showcase that had everyone on the edge of their seats. And here’s the scoop: mid-event, a surprise “Tech-Energy Kahoot!” quiz broke out spontaneous, high-energy, and full of buzz cracking open the friendly competitive spirit and revealing a hidden graph-theory enthusiast among the crowd who aced every energy trivia question. This unexpected moment perfectly captured the event’s spirit innovative, fun, and intellectually electric.
