LAUNCHSMART – Connect the World with the Era of IoT & Big Data 29-07-2025

The LAUNCHSMART , Connect the World with the Era of IoT & Big Data online conference took place on 29 July 2025 at 5:00 PM (Tunisia Time) / 9:30 PM (IST), conducted via Google Meet. Organized by the IEEE IAS PES ENSIT Student Branch Joint Chapter. Dr. Shashikant Patil, a renowned academic and IEEE global leader specializing in smart grids, IoT, and AI. Dr. Patil guided participants through the convergence of IoT, AI, and Big Data, including ETL data engineering processes and real-world case studies in smart grids and automation. He also spotlighted the IEEE Smart Grid vision and how IEEE initiatives are shaping the future of intelligent systems. The session enhanced attendees’ technical understanding, introduced them to key IEEE resources and volunteer opportunities, and provided inspiration to explore research and innovation paths globally. The workshop effectively reinforced IEEE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity while elevating the visibility and impact of the ENSIT Student Branch.
